This win launched their international career and they have since performed in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. One of the duo's most notable performances was their debut at the Salzburg Festival in 2002. They performed a program of works by Mozart, Schubert, and Brahms to critical acclaim. The Salzburger Nachrichten praised their "perfectly coordinated playing" and "impressive musicality." The duo has since returned to the Salzburg Festival several times, performing works by composers such as Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, and Shostakovich. In addition to their performances as a duo, Genova and Dimitrov are also accomplished soloists. They have both performed with major orchestras around the world, including the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to their win at the International Piano Duo Competition in Tokyo, they were awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Duo Competition in Białystok, Poland in 1998. They were also awarded the Echo Klassik Award in 2010 for their recording of works by Brahms.
