Arno Bornkamp is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music through his exceptional saxophone playing skills. Born on October 8, 1959, in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Bornkamp grew up in a family of musicians. His father was a professional violinist, and his mother was a pianist. This musical background played a significant role in shaping Bornkamp's interest in music from a young age. Bornkamp began his musical journey by learning the piano at the age of six. However, he soon discovered his love for the saxophone and started playing it at the age of twelve. He received his first saxophone lessons from his father, who was a saxophonist as well. Bornkamp's talent for the saxophone was evident from the beginning, and he quickly progressed to become a skilled player. Bornkamp's passion for music led him to pursue a career in music. He studied at the Sweelinck Conservatory in Amsterdam, where he received his diploma in 1982. He then went on to study at the Paris Conservatory, where he received his Premier Prix in 1985.
