Cantemus Children's Choir is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their angelic voices since their inception in 1990. The choir was founded by Dóra Halas, a Hungarian conductor and music educator, who had a vision of creating a children's choir that would be recognized for its exceptional musical talent and professionalism. In addition to their festival performances, the choir has also performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia. They have also performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the Vienna Philharmonic. One of the choir's most memorable performances was at the opening ceremony of the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. The choir performed the Olympic Hymn, which was composed by Spyridon Samaras and written by Kostis Palamas. The performance was watched by millions of people around the world, and it was a proud moment for the choir and for Hungary. The choir's repertoire includes a wide range of classical music, from Renaissance and Baroque music to contemporary works.
