Tony Rosado is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 12, 1975, in Lima, Peru, Rosado showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Rosado's early years were spent studying music at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima. He received his Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from the conservatory in 1997. During his time at the conservatory, Rosado was exposed to a wide range of musical styles, including classical, jazz, and Latin American music. He was particularly drawn to the works of Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. After completing his studies at the conservatory, Rosado moved to the United States to further his education. He enrolled in the Master of Music program at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. While at USC, Rosado studied under the renowned pianist and teacher Daniel Pollack. He received his Master of Music degree in piano performance from USC in 2000. Rosado's talent as a pianist quickly gained recognition, and he began performing at major venues around the world. In 2001, he made his debut at Carnegie Hall in New York City, performing a solo recital to critical acclaim. The New York Times praised Rosado's "virtuosic technique and sensitive interpretation" and hailed him as "a rising star in the world of classical music." Over the years, Rosado has performed at many other prestigious venues, including the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He has also appeared as a soloist with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic. In addition to his solo performances, Rosado has collaborated with many other musicians and ensembles. He has performed with the Emerson String Quartet, the Tokyo String Quartet, and the Guarneri String Quartet, among others. He has also worked with conductors such as Leonard Slatkin, Michael Tilson Thomas, and Zubin Mehta. Rosado's recordings have received widespread critical acclaim. His debut album, released in 2003, featured works by Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff. The album was praised for its "impeccable technique and musical sensitivity" and was named one of the best classical recordings of the year by several publications. In 2002, he was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, one of the most prestigious awards in classical music. In addition to his performing career, Rosado is also a dedicated teacher.
