The Goeyvaerts String Trio is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their unique sound and virtuosic performances for over two decades. The trio consists of Kristien Roels on violin, Kris Matthynssens on viola, and Pieter Stas on cello. They are named after the Belgian composer Karel Goeyvaerts, who was a pioneer of serialism in music. The trio was formed in 1997, when the three musicians were studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
