Role:EnsembleTrio Bamberg is a classical music ensemble consisting of three talented musicians: violinist Anton Barakhovsky, cellist Misha Quint, and pianist Anna Shelest. The trio was formed in 2015 and has since become one of the most sought-after chamber music groups in the world. Anton Barakhovsky was born in Ukraine and began playing the violin at the age of six. He studied at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Kiev and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. He has won numerous awards, including first prize at the International Violin Competition in Novosibirsk, Russia, and the International Violin Competition in Kloster Schöntal, Germany. Misha Quint was born in Russia and began playing the cello at the age of six. He studied at the Moscow Conservatory and later at the Juilliard School in New York. He has won several awards, including first prize at the International Cello Competition in Paris and the International Cello Competition in Budapest. Anna Shelest was born in Ukraine and began playing the piano at the age of six. She studied at the Juilliard School in New York and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. She has won several awards, including first prize at the International Piano Competition in Caltanissetta, Italy, and the International Piano Competition in Pinerolo, Italy. The three musicians first met in 2014 and quickly realized that they shared a passion for chamber music. They formed Trio Bamberg the following year and began performing together regularly. Their first major performance was at the International Chamber Music Festival in St. Petersburg, Russia, where they received rave reviews from both audiences and critics.
