Kuang-Hao Huang is a renowned classical pianist who has made a name for himself in the world of music. Born in Taiwan in 1968, Huang showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Huang's early musical education was in Taiwan, where he studied with renowned pianist and teacher, Ching-Yun Hu. He later moved to the United States to continue his studies at the Juilliard School in New York City. There, he studied with the legendary pianist and teacher, Yoheved Kaplinsky, and earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. Huang's talent and dedication to his craft quickly became apparent, and he began to receive recognition for his performances. In 1993, he won the prestigious Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition, which helped to launch his career as a concert pianist. He has since performed in major concert halls around the world, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. Huang's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Mozart. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the music of Franz Liszt, a composer who is often considered one of the greatest pianists of all time. Huang's performances of Liszt's music have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. In addition to his career as a performer, Huang is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught at several prestigious institutions, including the Juilliard School, the Manhattan School of Music, and the University of Michigan.
