Enoksson grew up in a family of musicians, and his parents were both professional violinists. His father, Sten Enoksson, was a member of the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra, and his mother, Ingrid Enoksson, was a violin teacher. Enoksson started playing the violin at the age of four, and he showed exceptional talent from an early age. He received his first violin lessons from his mother, and later he studied with Professor Arve Tellefsen at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo. Enoksson continued his studies at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, where he studied with Professor Henryk Szeryng. Enoksson's talent was recognized early on, and he won several awards and competitions as a young musician. In 1982, he won the first prize in the Swedish National Violin Competition, and in 1984, he won the first prize in the Carl Nielsen International Violin Competition in Denmark.
