From a young age, Beverly showed a natural talent for music and began taking piano lessons at the age of four. As Beverly grew older, she became more interested in classical music and began studying the violin. She quickly excelled in her studies and began performing in local orchestras and competitions. By the age of 12, Beverly had won several awards and was recognized as a rising star in the classical music world. In 2001, Beverly was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. She studied under some of the most renowned violinists in the world and continued to hone her craft. During her time at Juilliard, Beverly performed in numerous concerts and recitals, showcasing her incredible talent and passion for music. After graduating from Juilliard in 2005, Beverly began her professional career as a classical musician. She quickly gained recognition for her virtuosic performances and was invited to perform with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. One of Beverly's most memorable performances was in 2008, when she performed the solo violin part in Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto with the Berlin Philharmonic. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Beverly's technical skill and emotional depth. Over the years, Beverly has received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to classical music. In 2010, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians who show great potential for a successful career in classical music. She has also been awarded the prestigious MacArthur Fellowship, commonly known as the "genius grant," which recognizes individuals who have made significant contributions to their field. In addition to her performances as a soloist, Beverly is also an accomplished chamber musician.
