From a young age, Stellman showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Stellman's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking piano lessons with renowned pianist and teacher, Maria João Pires, at the age of seven. Under Pires' guidance, Stellman developed a deep understanding and appreciation for classical music. Stellman's talent continued to grow, and she began performing in public at the age of ten.
