Born on August 22, 1978, in the town of Würzburg, Germany, Romberger grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a church musician, and her mother was a music teacher. From a young age, Romberger was exposed to music and began singing in choirs and playing the piano. Romberger's passion for music led her to pursue a career in classical singing. She studied at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, where she received her diploma in voice and opera. She also studied with renowned vocal coaches such as Margreet Honig and Helmut Deutsch. Romberger's career took off in the early 2000s when she began performing in opera productions and concerts throughout Europe. She quickly gained a reputation for her powerful voice and expressive performances. In 2003, she made her debut at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich, where she performed the role of the Third Lady in Mozart's "The Magic Flute."
