Hyperion-Trio is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Germany. The trio consists of three main members: Oliver Wille on violin, Niklas Schmidt on cello, and Jonathan Aner on piano. The ensemble has gained recognition for their unique interpretations of classical music and their ability to bring new life to traditional pieces. The founding members of Hyperion-Trio met while studying at the Hanns Eisler Academy of Music in Berlin. They have also been invited to perform at numerous music festivals, such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival, the Rheingau Music Festival, and the Salzburg Festival. One of the highlights of Hyperion-Trio's career was their performance at the 2010 Beethovenfest in Bonn, Germany. The festival is dedicated to the music of Ludwig van Beethoven, and Hyperion-Trio was invited to perform all of Beethoven's piano trios over the course of three concerts. The ensemble received rave reviews for their performances, with critics praising their technical skill and emotional depth. In addition to their live performances, Hyperion-Trio has also released several recordings. Their debut album, "Beethoven: Piano Trios," was released in 2008 and received widespread critical acclaim.
