Magali Mosnier is a French flutist who has established herself as one of the leading classical musicians of her generation. Born on December 22, 1977, in Paris, France, Mosnier showed an early interest in music and began playing the flute at the age of six. She studied at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where she was a student of Pierre-Yves Artaud and Alain Marion. Mosnier's talent was quickly recognized, and she won several prestigious awards and competitions early in her career. In 1995, she won first prize at the Concours National des Jeunes Flûtistes in France, and in 1996, she won first prize at the International Flute Competition in Kobe, Japan.
