Brewer's talent was recognized by his school, and he was given the opportunity to perform in various school concerts and events. He also participated in local music competitions and won several awards. Brewer's parents realized that he needed more advanced training, and they enrolled him in the Royal Academy of Music in London. At the Royal Academy of Music, Brewer studied under some of the most renowned music teachers in the country.
