In addition to her work with the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, she has also collaborated with many other musicians, including pianist André Watts and violinist Itzhak Perlman. The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio was formed in 1977, when the three musicians were asked to perform together at the White House for President Jimmy Carter. The performance was a success, and the trio decided to continue playing together. They made their debut at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. later that year and have since performed at many of the world's leading concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall. The trio has recorded extensively, with over 20 albums to their name. They have received numerous awards and accolades for their recordings, including three Grammy nominations. Their recording of the complete Beethoven piano trios won the Grand Prix du Disque and was named Record of the Year by Stereo Review. In addition to their work as a trio, Kalichstein, Laredo, and Robinson are also active as soloists and chamber musicians. They have collaborated with many other musicians, including pianist Emanuel Ax, violinist Joshua Bell, and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. The Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio has also been active in promoting music education. They have conducted masterclasses and workshops for young musicians around the world, and have served as artists-in-residence at many universities and music schools. Throughout their career, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio has been praised for their technical virtuosity, musical sensitivity, and deep understanding of the chamber music repertoire. They have been described as "one of the most satisfying chamber ensembles on the scene today" by The New York Times, and "a model of chamber music at its best" by The Washington Post. In recognition of their contributions to the world of classical music, the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio has received many honors and awards.
