Aurelia Visovan is a Romanian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and chamber musician. Born on May 5, 1987, in Bucharest, Romania, Aurelia showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents, both music lovers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion. Aurelia's musical education began at the George Enescu Music High School in Bucharest, where she studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Viniciu Moroianu. She then went on to study at the National University of Music in Bucharest, where she earned her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance. During her studies, Aurelia participated in numerous national and international competitions, winning several awards and distinctions. One of Aurelia's most significant achievements came in 2009 when she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy. This competition is known for its high level of competition and attracts some of the most talented young pianists from around the world. Aurelia's victory was a testament to her exceptional talent and hard work. In addition to her solo performances, Aurelia is also an accomplished chamber musician. She has collaborated with many renowned musicians, including violinist Alexandru Tomescu, cellist Razvan Suma, and clarinetist Aurelian Octav Popa. Together, they have performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Romania and abroad, including the Romanian Athenaeum, the Palace of the Arts in Budapest, and the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
