Role:EnsembleTrio Dali is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2006. The group consists of three members: Vineta Sareika on violin, Christian-Pierre La Marca on cello, and Amandine Savary on piano. The ensemble is named after the famous Italian artist Salvador Dali, who was known for his surrealistic paintings. The three members of Trio Dali met while studying at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. They quickly discovered a shared passion for chamber music and decided to form an ensemble together. Since then, they have become one of the most acclaimed chamber music groups in the world. Trio Dali has performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. They have also performed at numerous music festivals, such as the Salzburg Festival, the Verbier Festival, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival. One of the highlights of Trio Dali's career was their performance at the 2010 International Chamber Music Competition in Osaka, Japan. They were awarded first prize, as well as the special prize for the best performance of a contemporary work. This was a significant achievement for the ensemble, as the competition is one of the most prestigious in the world. In addition to their success at the International Chamber Music Competition, Trio Dali has also won numerous other awards and accolades. They were awarded the Diapason d'Or in 2011 for their recording of Beethoven's complete piano trios, and the Choc de Classica in 2013 for their recording of Schubert's piano trios. Trio Dali is known for their innovative and dynamic performances, which often feature contemporary works alongside more traditional repertoire. They have collaborated with many contemporary composers, including Bruno Mantovani, Philippe Hersant, and Thierry Escaich. One of the most notable collaborations of Trio Dali was with the French composer and pianist Michel Legrand. They worked together on a project called "Legrand Jazz," which featured arrangements of some of Legrand's most famous jazz compositions. The project was a huge success, and the ensemble performed it at venues all over the world. Trio Dali is also committed to education and outreach. They have worked with young musicians in masterclasses and workshops, and have performed in schools and community centers. They believe that classical music should be accessible to everyone, and are dedicated to sharing their love of music with as many people as possible. In conclusion, Trio Dali is a world-renowned classical music ensemble that has achieved great success in their relatively short career. Their innovative and dynamic performances, commitment to contemporary music, and dedication to education and outreach have made them one of the most respected and beloved chamber music groups in the world.More....
