Period:RenaissanceTomàs Maxé was born on May 15, 1985, in Barcelona, Spain. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical guitarist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Maxé showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Maxé's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu in Barcelona, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Alicia de Larrocha. Under her tutelage, Maxé honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2003, Maxé graduated from the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu with honors and went on to pursue further studies at the Royal College of Music in London. There, he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Dmitri Alexeev, and graduated with a Master's degree in Piano Performance in 2007. Maxé's talent and dedication to his craft soon caught the attention of the classical music world, and he began performing in major concert halls across Europe and Asia. In 2008, he made his debut at the Wigmore Hall in London, one of the most prestigious concert venues in the world. His performance was met with critical acclaim, and he was hailed as a rising star in the classical music world. Over the years, Maxé has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Gustavo Dudamel. Maxé's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, including Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, and Mozart. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Spanish composers, such as Manuel de Falla and Isaac Albéniz. In addition to his performances, Maxé is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at some of the world's leading music schools, including the Royal College of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York.
