The performances were highly acclaimed by critics and audiences alike, with The Guardian describing the trio's playing as "exquisite" and "passionate." The Joachim Trio has also been recognized for their recordings. Their recording of Brahms' piano trios was awarded the Diapason d'Or, one of the most prestigious classical music awards in France. The trio's recording of Dvorak's piano trios was also highly praised, with Gramophone magazine describing it as "a performance of great warmth and depth." In addition to their performances and recordings, the Joachim Trio is also committed to music education. They have given masterclasses at numerous universities and conservatories, including the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Juilliard School in New York City.
