Taubl began his musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of six. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began to take lessons from renowned pianists in Vienna. By the age of ten, Taubl had already won several local piano competitions, and his talent was recognized by the Austrian government, which awarded him a scholarship to study at the Vienna Conservatory. At the conservatory, Taubl studied under the guidance of some of the most renowned pianists in Austria. He quickly established himself as a talented musician and began to perform at various concerts and recitals. In 1985, Taubl graduated from the conservatory with honors and was awarded the prestigious Bösendorfer Prize for his outstanding performance. After completing his studies, Taubl began to perform extensively throughout Europe, Asia, and the United States. He quickly gained a reputation as a virtuoso pianist and was invited to perform at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Musikverein in Vienna. Taubl's performances were always highly acclaimed, and he received numerous awards and accolades for his work. In 1990, he was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque for his recording of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, and in 1995, he was awarded the Austrian Cross of Honor for Science and Art for his contribution to the arts. He composed several pieces for piano and orchestra, which were performed by some of the world's leading orchestras.
