The group's original lineup also included Scott Hartman and Sam Pilafian, both of whom were also students at Boston University. Over the years, the lineup of Boston Brass Ensemble has changed, but the group has always maintained its commitment to excellence in music. Today, the group is made up of Jeff Conner on trumpet, Jose Sibaja on trumpet, Chris Castellanos on horn, Domingo Pagliuca on trombone, and William Russell on tuba. One of the highlights of Boston Brass Ensemble's career was their performance at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. The group was chosen to perform at the opening ceremonies of the games, and their performance was seen by millions of people around the world. The group has also performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., and at Carnegie Hall in New York City. In addition to their live performances, Boston Brass Ensemble has also released several albums over the years. Their first album, "Boston Brass," was released in 1987, and was followed by "Ya Gotta Try" in 1992. The group's most recent album, "Concerto Grosso," was released in 2017.
