Birth:1980 in Mendoza, ArgentinaMariana Flores is a renowned classical music artist known for her exceptional vocal abilities and captivating performances. Born in Lima, Peru, in 1981, Flores grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. Her father was a composer and conductor, and her mother was a singer, so it was only natural that Flores would follow in their footsteps. Flores began her musical training at the National Conservatory of Music in Lima, where she studied piano and singing. She later moved to Europe to further her studies, attending the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Switzerland and the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in France. Throughout her career, Flores has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. She has also collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and orchestras, including William Christie and Les Arts Florissants, Jordi Savall and Le Concert des Nations, and René Jacobs and the Freiburger Barockorchester. One of Flores' most notable performances was her portrayal of the title role in Handel's opera "Alcina" at the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris in 2012. Her performance was praised for its emotional depth and technical brilliance, and it cemented her reputation as one of the most talented sopranos of her generation. Flores has also received numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 2008, she won the prestigious International Baroque Singing Competition in Froville, France, and in 2010, she was awarded the Prix Liliane Bettencourt pour le chant choral.
