Kristīne Adamaite is a Latvian classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and chamber musician. Born on May 22, 1989, in Riga, Latvia, Adamaite showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of the best teachers in Latvia. Adamaite's musical education continued at the Jāzeps Vītols Latvian Academy of Music, where she studied under the guidance of Professor Arnis Zandmanis. During her time at the academy, Adamaite won several awards and competitions, including the 1st prize at the International Piano Competition in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2008. After completing her studies at the academy, Adamaite continued her education at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, Germany, where she studied with Professor Ralf Nattkemper. During her time in Hamburg, Adamaite continued to win awards and competitions, including the 1st prize at the International Piano Competition in San Marino, Italy, in 2011. Adamaite's career as a professional musician began in earnest after she completed her studies in Hamburg. She has since performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Europe, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, and the Konzerthaus in Vienna. Adamaite has also performed as a soloist with several orchestras, including the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra, the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. One of the highlights of Adamaite's career came in 2015 when she was invited to perform at the prestigious Verbier Festival in Switzerland. The festival is one of the most important events in the classical music calendar and attracts some of the biggest names in the industry.
