Jan Dismas Zelenka was a Czech composer who lived from 1679 to 1745. He was a contemporary of Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel, and is considered one of the most important composers of the Baroque era. One of his most famous works is the set of six Fanfares, ZWV 212.
