Girolamo Frescobaldi was an Italian composer and organist of the Baroque era. He was born in Ferrara in 1583 and died in Rome in 1643. He is considered one of the most important composers of keyboard music of his time. Fiori Musicali is a collection of organ music that Frescobaldi composed in 1635. Altro Recercar is the thirtieth piece in the third part of Fiori Musicali. It is a recercar, which is a type of instrumental composition that was popular in the Renaissance and Baroque periods.
