The University of Utah Chamber Choir is a renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their exceptional performances for over 50 years. Since then, the choir has been under the direction of several talented conductors, including Dr. Brady Allred, who has been the director since 1996. The choir is made up of approximately 40 auditioned singers, who are all students at the University of Utah. The choir's repertoire includes a wide range of music, from Renaissance to contemporary, and they have performed in many different languages, including Latin, German, French, and Russian. Over the years, the University of Utah Chamber Choir has performed at many prestigious venues and events, including the National Cathedral in Washington D.C., the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, and the American Choral Directors Association National Conference. They have also toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe, performing in countries such as Italy, Germany, and Austria. One of the highlights of the choir's history was their performance at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City.
