Eldbjørg Hemsing is a Norwegian classical music artist who has gained international recognition for her virtuosic performances on the violin. Born on November 19, 1990, in Valdres, Norway, Hemsing grew up in a family of musicians and began playing the violin at the age of four. Her mother, a pianist, and her father, a folk musician, were both instrumental in fostering her love for music and encouraging her to pursue a career in the arts. Hemsing's early musical education was rooted in the folk traditions of her native Norway. She studied with local fiddlers and participated in traditional music festivals throughout her childhood.
