Frank Hiemenz was born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Hiemenz showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Hiemenz's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Hiemenz had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. At the age of twelve, Hiemenz was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Klaus Hellwig. During his time at the conservatory, Hiemenz honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2003, Hiemenz won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Vienna, Austria, which marked a turning point in his career. The win brought him international recognition and opened doors for him to perform at major concert halls around the world. Over the years, Hiemenz has performed at some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He has collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic. Hiemenz's performances are known for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. He has a unique ability to connect with his audience and bring out the nuances of the music he plays.
