From a young age, Péter showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Péter's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Péter had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. In 1996, Péter was accepted into the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, one of the most prestigious music schools in Europe. He studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and professor, György Kurtág, and quickly established himself as one of the top students in his class. In 2002, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Vienna, Austria, which marked a major turning point in his career.
