Sébastien Llinares is a French classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on May 5, 1985, in Marseille, France, Llinares showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He was quickly recognized as a prodigious talent and began studying with renowned pianists in France and abroad. Llinares' early musical education was marked by a series of impressive achievements. At the age of ten, he won first prize in the Marseille Conservatory's piano competition, and at twelve, he was awarded the prestigious Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe Scholarship. He continued to win numerous awards and competitions throughout his teenage years, including the International Piano Competition of the City of Paris and the International Piano Competition of the City of Toulouse. In 2003, Llinares was accepted into the Paris Conservatory, where he studied with the renowned pianist and pedagogue Jacques Rouvier. During his time at the conservatory, Llinares continued to win awards and accolades, including the First Prize at the International Piano Competition of the City of Poitiers in 2005. After completing his studies at the Paris Conservatory, Llinares embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. He has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. He has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. Llinares' performances have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. He is known for his ability to bring out the nuances and subtleties of the music he plays, and for his ability to connect with audiences on a deep emotional level.
