He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Troester showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Troester's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Troester had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. Troester continued his musical education at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue, Klaus Hellwig. During his time at the conservatory, Troester honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2005, Troester won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland, which marked a turning point in his career. The competition brought him international recognition and opened doors for him to perform in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls. Over the years, Troester has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic.
