Soren K. Hansen is a renowned classical music artist known for his exceptional skills as a pianist and conductor. Born in Denmark in 1975, Hansen showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Hansen's musical education began at the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen, where he studied piano under the guidance of renowned pianist and pedagogue Anne Øland. He later went on to study conducting with Michael Schønwandt and Giordano Bellincampi. In 2005, Hansen was appointed the principal conductor of the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, a position he held for five years. During his tenure, he led the orchestra in several critically acclaimed performances, including a performance of Beethoven's Ninth Symphony that was hailed as one of the best performances of the work in recent memory. In 2010, Hansen was appointed the principal conductor of the Odense Symphony Orchestra, a position he still holds today. Under his leadership, the orchestra has continued to grow and thrive, and it has become one of the most respected orchestras in Denmark. Hansen's talent as a conductor has also been recognized internationally.
