Max Barros is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. He was born on August 22, 1955, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. From a young age, Barros showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. Barros began his musical training at the age of six, studying piano with his mother, a well-known pianist in Brazil. He quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument and began performing in public at the age of eight. By the time he was a teenager, Barros had already won several national piano competitions in Brazil. In 1973, Barros moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. He studied with renowned pianists such as Rosina Lhevinne and Adele Marcus, and he quickly established himself as a rising star in the classical music world. Barros made his debut as a soloist with the New York Philharmonic in 1976, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 3.
