Born on May 22, 1985, in Budapest, Hungary, Csányi showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. She quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with renowned Hungarian pianist and teacher, Katalin Nemes. Under Nemes' tutelage, Csányi developed a deep love and appreciation for classical music, and she began to excel in her studies. She went on to attend the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, where she studied with some of the most respected pianists in Hungary, including György Nádor and Balázs Szokolay. Throughout her time at the academy, Csányi participated in numerous competitions and performances, earning recognition for her exceptional talent and skill. In 2005, she won first prize at the National Piano Competition in Hungary, and in 2006, she was awarded the prestigious Junior Prima Prize, which recognizes outstanding young artists in Hungary. After completing her studies at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music, Csányi continued to pursue her passion for music, performing as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe and Asia. She has collaborated with some of the most respected musicians in the world, including violinist Barnabás Kelemen, cellist István Várdai, and pianist Dénes Várjon. One of Csányi's most notable performances was her debut at the Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2012. She performed as part of the Rising Stars series, which showcases the most promising young musicians from around the world.
