Born on December 22, 1983, in Yerevan, Armenia, Saténik grew up in a family of musicians. Her father, Vahan Khourdoïan, was a renowned violinist, and her mother, Anahit Tsitsikian, was a pianist. Saténik's parents recognized her musical talent at a young age and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Saténik began her musical training at the age of five, studying the piano with her mother. She later switched to the violin, which became her primary instrument. Saténik's talent was evident from the start, and she quickly became a prodigy. She won her first competition at the age of six and went on to win numerous awards and accolades throughout her career. In 1995, Saténik and her family moved to Switzerland, where she continued her musical education. She studied at the Lausanne Conservatory with Corina Belcea-Fisher and later at the Geneva Conservatory with Svetlin Roussev. Saténik's talent continued to flourish, and she won several competitions, including the Swiss Youth Music Competition and the International Competition for Young Violinists in Klosters.
