Jane Hobson was born on May 15, 1985, in London, England. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Jane showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. As a child, Jane was enrolled in the Royal Academy of Music's Junior Department, where she received formal training in piano performance. She quickly excelled in her studies and was soon performing in public concerts and competitions.
