Born in Tokyo, Japan, in 1946, Yasuko began playing the piano at the age of four. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music as a career. She received her early training in Japan and later moved to the United States to study at the Juilliard School in New York City. Yasuko's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age. She won numerous competitions in Japan and the United States, including the prestigious Young Concert Artists International Auditions in 1970. Throughout her career, Yasuko has collaborated with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the London Symphony Orchestra.
