Born on December 16, 1970, in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Nisinman grew up in a family of musicians. His father, Osvaldo Nisinman, was a bandoneon player, and his mother, Susana Nisinman, was a pianist. From a young age, Nisinman showed a keen interest in music and began playing the bandoneon at the age of six. Nisinman's musical education began at the age of eight when he enrolled in the Escuela de MĆŗsica Popular de Avellaneda, where he studied the bandoneon with his father. He later went on to study at the Conservatorio Nacional de MĆŗsica Carlos López Buchardo in Buenos Aires, where he received a degree in composition. During his time at the conservatory, Nisinman studied with renowned composers such as Mariano Etkin, Gerardo Gandini, and Francisco Krƶpfl. Nisinman's career as a musician began in the early 1990s when he joined the Orquesta TĆpica Fernandez Fierro, a contemporary tango orchestra based in Buenos Aires. He quickly became one of the orchestra's principal bandoneon players and arrangers, and his innovative arrangements helped to modernize the traditional tango sound. Nisinman's work with the Orquesta TĆpica Fernandez Fierro brought him international recognition, and he began to receive invitations to perform and compose for other ensembles around the world. In 1997, Nisinman moved to Europe, where he continued to develop his career as a composer and performer. He settled in Berlin, Germany, where he became a member of the Berliner Ensemble, a theater company founded by Bertolt Brecht. Nisinman's work with the Berliner Ensemble allowed him to explore new musical styles and techniques, and he began to incorporate elements of jazz, classical music, and contemporary music into his compositions. Nisinman's breakthrough as a composer came in 2001 when he was commissioned to write a piece for the Kronos Quartet, a renowned string quartet based in San Francisco, California. The resulting work, "Migra," was a fusion of tango and contemporary classical music and showcased Nisinman's unique style and approach to composition. "Migra" was well-received by audiences and critics alike and helped to establish Nisinman as one of the leading composers of his generation. Since then, Nisinman has continued to compose and perform around the world, collaborating with a wide range of musicians and ensembles. He has written music for film, theater, and dance productions, and his work has been featured in festivals and concerts in Europe, Asia, and the Americas. Nisinman has also released several albums as a solo artist, including "Tango Nuevo," "Tango Zero Hour," and "Tango de CĆ”mara." Nisinman's contributions to the world of classical music have not gone unnoticed, and he has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career. In 2003, he was awarded the Konex Award, one of the most prestigious awards in Argentina, for his contributions to contemporary music. He has also been awarded the German Record Critics' Award, the Echo Klassik Award, and the Latin Grammy Award for Best Tango Album. In addition to his work as a composer and performer, Nisinman is also a dedicated teacher and has taught at several institutions around the world. He has been a guest lecturer at the University of California, Berkeley, and has taught at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin.More....
