María Espada is a renowned Spanish soprano who has made a name for herself in the world of classical music. Born in Seville, Spain, in 1973, Espada grew up in a family of musicians and was exposed to music from a young age. Her father was a guitarist and her mother was a singer, and they both encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Espada began her musical training at the age of six, studying piano and singing at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Sevilla. She later went on to study at the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid, where she honed her skills as a soprano. During her time in Madrid, Espada also studied with renowned vocal coaches such as Teresa Berganza and Montserrat Caballé.
