Myra Huang is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and vocal coach. Born in New York City in 1979, Huang grew up in a family of musicians. Her father was a violinist, and her mother was a pianist, so it was only natural that she would develop a love for music at a young age. Huang began playing the piano when she was just four years old, and by the time she was a teenager, she was already performing in public. She attended the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with renowned pianist Yoheved Kaplinsky. After graduating from Juilliard, Huang went on to earn a master's degree in piano performance from the Manhattan School of Music. Huang's career as a pianist took off in the early 2000s, when she began performing with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras. She has played with the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, among others. One of Huang's most memorable performances was in 2005, when she played with the New York Philharmonic at the opening of the Lincoln Center's Avery Fisher Hall. The New York Times called her playing "elegant and refined," and praised her "crystalline tone and impeccable technique." In addition to her work as a pianist, Huang is also a highly sought-after vocal coach.
