KorVest is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2015 by three talented musicians, Korneliusz Kubicki, Veronika Manukyan, and Stefan Tarara. The ensemble is known for its unique blend of classical and contemporary music, and its ability to captivate audiences with its dynamic performances. Korneliusz Kubicki, the founder and artistic director of KorVest, is a renowned cellist who has performed with some of the world's most prestigious orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic and the London Symphony Orchestra. Veronika Manukyan, the ensemble's pianist, is a highly acclaimed musician who has won numerous awards for her performances. Stefan Tarara, the ensemble's violinist, is a rising star in the classical music world, having won several international competitions and performed with orchestras across Europe. The three musicians first met while studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany, and quickly realized that they shared a passion for creating innovative and exciting music. They formed KorVest with the goal of exploring new ways to interpret classical music, and to bring their unique vision to audiences around the world. Since its founding, KorVest has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. The ensemble has also collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians, including the pianist Lang Lang and the conductor Sir Simon Rattle. One of the highlights of KorVest's career was its performance at the 2018 BBC Proms, where the ensemble performed a program of contemporary classical music that included works by John Adams, Steve Reich, and Philip Glass. The performance was widely praised by critics, who hailed KorVest's ability to bring a fresh perspective to contemporary classical music. KorVest has also won numerous awards for its performances, including the prestigious Echo Klassik award in 2017 for its album "Bach: The Complete Sonatas and Partitas for Violin and Cello." The album, which was released on the Deutsche Grammophon label, was praised for its innovative interpretations of Bach's music, and for the ensemble's virtuosic playing. In addition to its performances and recordings, KorVest is also committed to education and outreach. The ensemble regularly gives masterclasses and workshops for young musicians, and has worked with organizations such as the El Sistema music program in Venezuela to bring classical music to underserved communities.
