Born on December 22, 1987, in Bucharest, Romania, Tonca showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Tonca's musical education continued at the National University of Music in Bucharest, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance in 2009. She then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Piano Performance at the same institution, which she completed in 2011. During her time at the university, Tonca received numerous awards and scholarships for her outstanding musical achievements. Tonca's talent and dedication to her craft soon caught the attention of the international music community. In 2012, she was invited to participate in the prestigious International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain, where she won the third prize. This achievement marked the beginning of Tonca's international career as a concert pianist. Since then, Tonca has performed in some of the world's most renowned concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic. She has collaborated with many of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the New York Philharmonic. Tonca's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in classical music history, such as Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. In addition to her successful career as a concert pianist, Tonca is also a dedicated music educator.
