Evgenia Epshtein is a renowned classical pianist who has captivated audiences around the world with her virtuosic performances and deep musicality. Born in Moscow, Russia in 1985, Epshtein showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of five. Her parents, both professional musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Epshtein's early training was rigorous and demanding, but she thrived under the guidance of her teachers. She quickly developed a reputation as a prodigious talent, winning numerous competitions and awards throughout her childhood and teenage years. By the time she was in her early twenties, she had already established herself as one of the most promising young pianists of her generation. In 2007, Epshtein made her debut at the prestigious Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow, where she wowed the judges and audience with her stunning performance of Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2. She has collaborated with some of the world's leading musicians, including violinist Maxim Vengerov and cellist Gautier Capuçon. In addition to her silver medal at the Tchaikovsky Competition, she has been awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain, and the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Valencia, Spain.
