Seth Krimsky is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the world of music. Born in 1954 in New York City, Krimsky grew up in a family that valued music and the arts. His father was a jazz musician, and his mother was a painter. Krimsky's parents encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he began playing the bassoon at the age of 12. Krimsky's talent for music quickly became apparent, and he was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City. He studied under the renowned bassoonist Harold Goltzer and graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 1976. After graduation, Krimsky moved to Seattle, where he began his career as a professional musician. Krimsky quickly established himself as a talented bassoonist, and he became a member of the Seattle Symphony Orchestra in 1977. He remained with the orchestra for over 30 years, during which time he performed in countless concerts and recordings. Despite this setback, Krimsky continued to perform and compose music, and he remained an active member of the Seattle music community. In 2012, Krimsky retired from the Seattle Symphony Orchestra after over 30 years of service. He continued to perform and compose music, and he remained an influential figure in the world of classical music.
