Alexander Lingas is a renowned classical music artist who has made significant contributions to the field of Byzantine chant and early music. Born in 1968 in the United States, Lingas grew up in a family that valued music and the arts. His parents were both musicians, and his father was a professor of musicology at the University of California, Los Angeles. Lingas began his musical training at a young age, studying piano and voice.
