Théo Loosli is a Swiss classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and musical interpretations. Born on May 22, 1996, in Geneva, Switzerland, Loosli showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. He was a prodigious talent, and his parents recognized his potential early on, enrolling him in music lessons and encouraging him to pursue his passion for music. Loosli's talent was evident from a young age, and he quickly began to make a name for himself in the Swiss music scene. He won his first competition at the age of eight, and by the time he was a teenager, he had already performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in Switzerland, including the Victoria Hall in Geneva and the Tonhalle in Zurich. In 2014, Loosli was accepted into the prestigious Juilliard School in New York City, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist Emanuel Ax. Loosli's repertoire is diverse and includes works by some of the most celebrated composers in classical music, including Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the works of Franz Liszt, and his performances of Liszt's Sonata in B minor and Transcendental Etudes have been praised for their technical brilliance and emotional depth. In addition to his performances, Loosli is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has given masterclasses and workshops at some of the most prestigious music schools in the world, including the Royal Academy of Music in London and the Conservatoire de Paris.
