Max Osswald was born on May 12, 1985, in Berlin, Germany. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Max showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Max's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Max had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigy. In 1997, Max was accepted into the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Klaus Hellwig. In 2015, Max was awarded the prestigious International Classical Music Award for his album "Max Osswald Plays Beethoven." The award recognized Max's outstanding contribution to classical music and cemented his reputation as one of the world's leading pianists. In addition to his performing career, Max is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught at several music schools and conservatories around the world, including the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
