The Moscow State Philharmonic RTV Symphony Orchestra of Slovenia is a world-renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences for over 70 years. The orchestra was founded in 1945 in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and has since become one of the most respected and celebrated orchestras in Europe. The orchestra's early years were marked by a period of rapid growth and development. In 1975, the orchestra was awarded the Order of Merit of the Republic of Slovenia, in recognition of its contributions to the cultural life of the country. In 1995, the orchestra was awarded the prestigious Prešeren Award, Slovenia's highest cultural honor, for its outstanding achievements in the field of classical music.
