Virginia Kerr was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a cellist. From a young age, Kerr showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Kerr's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking private lessons with renowned violinists and attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied under the guidance of Professor David Takeno. During her time at the Royal Academy of Music, Kerr won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the most renowned concert halls in the world, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican Centre. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Kerr began her professional career as a soloist and chamber musician. One of Kerr's most notable performances was her debut with the London Symphony Orchestra in 2009.
