One of Ramsey's most famous works is his anthem "How are the mighty fallen." This piece was written in memory of Prince Henry, the eldest son of King James I, who died in 1612 at the age of 18. The anthem is a beautiful and moving tribute to the young prince, and it is still performed today in churches and concert halls around the world. Ramsey was also known for his skill as an organist. He was appointed as the organist at St. George's Chapel in Windsor in 1625, and he held this position until his death.
